This kit has been thoroughly tested through the 2024 racing season to provide the highest efficiency oil cooling package which is a true bolt on kit for DIY and professionals. The kit uses a high efficiency DUAL pass oil cooler mounted against the ac condenser to allow the stock fans to pull air under low speed while providing little to no restriction at high speed. this compact arrangement allows for the use of some aftermarket turbo and supercharger systems. The lines are also easily repaired, or re made to suit a custom application using off the shelf components from Vibrant Performance
We use ALL vibrant performance components. The kit starts with their thermostatic oil cooler adapter which screws into the factory location by removing the stock oil warmer assembly. The thermostat allows the oil to get up to temperature quickly even in winter driving conditions just like the stock warmer. Once opened it allows the oil to circulate through the oil cooler.
The in closed video shows the oil temperature and pressure data logged with AIM SOLO 2 DL at a local track where we set the NA 86 lap record. The ambient temperature was 27 C. Temperature never goes about 116C on Track full tilt.
Professional installation recommend, Use of a Riv Nut is required
